Training workshop on the use of the SEAMLESS Ensemble and Assimilation Tool (EAT)
The MEAP-TT is excited to invite you to the training workshop on the use of the SEAMLESS Ensemble and Assimilation Tool (EAT).
EAT is an open-source, user-friendly assimilative modelling tool for the assimilation of data into the biogeochemical models of the Copernicus Marine Service and beyond: see description, code and video tutorials here.
EAT is not only a development platform for testing new assimilation methods and new biogeochemical models , but also a production-ready assimilation system for realistic one-dimensional setups that you can run on your laptop.
This makes EAT and ideal tool for R&D, as well as for teaching and training the next generation of ocean modellers and data assimilators.
