OPOS-WG meeting (6) – July 2024
The Operational Systems Working Group provides a platform for exchange and interaction for all the operational ocean forecasting systems represented in OceanPredict.

- Introduction to ocean forecasting activities in New Zealand, Rafael Soutelino, MetOcean Solutions.
- System updates. Please share any system updates or other developments made or planned since OPST-8 in November. If you’d like to present then ideally let me know beforehand, otherwise feel free to turn up with a slide or two or just a verbal update.
- DCC Atlas. If you haven’t already, please have a play with the DCC Atlas: https://www.unoceanprediction.org/en/atlas and try adding yourself or your system, or solicit feedback from colleagues who have. We can discuss our experiences to feed back, including any gaps in functionality or barriers to use.
- Contribution to ForeSea. There have been discussions in the background about how OPOS-WG can contribute to ForeSea. We’ll update on the current status, and invite discussion.
- Any other business. Please let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to discuss.
