Prof. Liu is the deputy director of the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Division at NMEFC, China. Her research interests include operational ocean circulation forecast, marine ecosystem modeling, interaction between physical and biological processes.

OceanPredict has helped the NMEFC to improve their global and regional operational ocean forecasting systems. It provides a great platform for communication by scientists of operational oceanography from all over the world.
