Gregory Smith – IV-TT

Dr. Smith (email) is co-chair of the Intercomparison and Validation Task Team. He is interested in developing new feature-based verification metrics (e.g. Eddy Tracking) as well as exploring probabilistic verification. Dr. Smith also has strong interests in data assimilation and coupled forecasting and contributes actively to the DA-TT, OS-Eval TT and CP-TT.

Dr. Smith is leading the Intercomparison and Validation Task Team (IV-TT) together with Fabrice Hernandez, IRD, France/Brazil.
