Anthony Weaver – DA-TT

Senior Research Scientist

Anthony Weaver is a senior research scientist in the Parallel Algorithms team at CERFACS in Toulouse. He works on ocean data assimilation, focussing on the development of advanced covariance modelling methods for hybrid ensemble-variational data assimilation algorithms. He is a founding developer of the NEMOVAR ocean data assimilation software, which is used operationally at ECMWF and Met Office. He has been a member of the OceanPredict Data Assimilation Task Team since 2015.
