OP Executive Committee
The OPEC is responsible for the vision and leadership of OceanPredict. Working closely with the OPAS chairs, the OPEC represents OceanPredict externally and fosters collaboration with other institutes, organisations and agencies at international level.
The Executive Committee (OPEC) will
- Represent OceanPredict internationally
- Ensure the policies and practices of OceanPredict are in keeping with its purpose
- Decide about the setting of strategic priorities and the planning of activities of OceanPredict, and propose these at annual meetings
- Prepare annual meetings together with the Programme Office
- Fulfil further duties and assignments delegated to the OPEC by decision of the OPAS
