OP ’24 Symposium full registration now open
The OceanPredict ’24 symposium theme of “Advancing ocean prediction science for societal benefits” highlights the central role played by ocean prediction in the UN Ocean Decade goals. We invite ocean and atmospheric scientists, observation specialists, industry representatives, service providers, governments, and users of ocean data & products from across the international operational oceanography community to engage in science sessions, exhibitions and discussions to explore and define the direction of operational oceanography.

OP’24 invites ocean scientists, sea-ice experts, and oceanic biosphere researchers, observation specialists, industry representatives, service providers and users of ocean data & products from across the international operational oceanography community to engage in science sessions, exhibitions and discussions to explore and define the direction of ocean prediction. Especially welcome are service providers and representatives from the end-user community, to exhibit their work and products, and to engage with the science community. Also very much encouraged to attend are early career scientists, students and representatives from emerging economies.
The symposium is sponsored by IOC/UNESCSO, Copernicus Marine Service/EC, Mercator Ocean international, the Met Office, CNES, ESA, NASA, NERSC, Government Canada and Bureau of Meteorology, Australia.
